EcoVadis: STILL once again among the top 1% of sustainable companies

Hamburg, February 8, 2024 - STILL, the Hamburg-based intralogistics specialist, has once again achieved platinum status in the world's leading sustainability ranking by EcoVadis with 81 out of a possible 100 points. STILL thus continues to rank among the top 1 percent of all companies assessed, once again confirming the company's consistent alignment of its business processes to sustainability principles.

Once again among the top 1 percent of all companies assessed: STILL, the Hamburg-based intralogistics specialist, has once again achieved platinum status in the world's leading sustainability ranking by EcoVadis.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has been a high priority at STILL GmbH for many years and is firmly rooted in the company's DNA. And with success, as the latest sustainability ranking by EcoVadis proves once more. Again, the provider of innovative intralogistics solutions has been awarded the highest rating of 'platinum' and was able to improve on its already very good result from the previous year. This places STILL once again in the top 1% of companies assessed. "With this outstanding result, we stand out from the European average in all sustainability categories. It shows us that our sustainability strategy is bearing fruit and that we are improving year on year in our efforts to make intralogistics fit for the future and efficient. We are working towards this goal in many small but efficient steps," says Dr Florian Heydenreich, Executive Vice President Sales & Service STILL EMEA.

STILL achieves further optimisations in ethics and sustainable procurement

EcoVadis assesses the sustainability performance of companies in the four areas of labour and human rights, ethics, procurement and the environment - and STILL scores above average in all four sustainability areas. In particular, EcoVadis gives the Hamburg-based company top marks in the „Environmental Management” and “Labour and Human Rights” categories, scoring almost twice as many points as the average of all the companies surveyed. In the area of ethics and procurement, STILL was even able to significantly improve its score compared to the previous year. "The consistently positive ranking in all areas is an unmistakable sign that our comprehensive management systems are just as successful as our numerous campaigns in the areas of environmental protection, recycling, waste disposal and the handling and reduction of hazardous substances," says Dr Florian Heydenreich. A new tree for every published scorecard

For the first time this year, EcoVadis is planting a tree for every scorecard published through a partnership with "One Tree Planted". The aim is to promote biodiversity and reduce global carbon concentrations. STILL supports this endeavour and also plants a tree for every EcoVadis certification it receives. Dr Florian Heydenreich: "This visibly marks our company's commitment to sustainability management."
