STILL presents the EXV iGo automated high lift pallet truck to the IFOY jury
What began a few years ago with an award for industrial trucks is now part of a specialist intralogistics event: At the Test Camp Intralogistics, STILL presented the IFOY finalist "EXV iGo" and other automation and energy solutions to visitors.
On the first day of the three-day event in Dortmund, STILL presented the IFOY nominated EXV iGo with the iGo easy plug & play solution to the international jury of experts.
Whether the automated high lift pallet truck wins the jury's vote will not be announced by the IFOY organisers until 14 June. However, STILL has already received the "Best in Intralogistics" certificate for its participation in the final round. This makes STILL's new automation solution one of the best intralogistics innovations of the past year.
Hydrogen as yet another highlight of STILL's performance
In addition to the journalists, customers and trade visitors also had the opportunity to learn more about the products and solutions from STILL experts over the following two days.
These included the mobile hydrogen refuelling station and a suitable hydrogen vehicle, which STILL has been offering as a rental solution since the beginning of the year. This is intended to make it easier for small customers in particular to get started with hydrogen. "We had many intensive discussions with visitors who were interested in hydrogen - with some of them we already looked for possible dates for a test drive," says Lina Bisswanger, Product Manager Fuel Cell at STILL.
In addition, STILL once again took part in the AGV Mesh-up organised by the VDMA, where the VDA 5050 communication interface is tested in a joint scenario involving different automation manufacturers. The EXV iGo was also part of this event - this time with the iGo Systems software solution. In this way, STILL was able to demonstrate on two test areas that the company offers suitable solutions in the automation sector for individual processes as well as for complex applications, also in cooperation with other manufacturers.
