STILL Pallet Runner
Highdensity storage (HDS).
Comparing with other storage systems you will keep the maximum space for your goods in spite of various articles and different pallets. The STILL HDS System is a storage solution state of the art.
No special lift trucks are required, the shuttles are working remote. The system is optimal designed for a high performance and maximum packing density.
The HDS System allows an extremely flexible access – in each channel you can store a different article. The high degree of freedom by creating a warehouse is a further advantage. It is possible to change an existing STILL Drive-in solution into a HDS System and vice versa. With the HDS System you cut the handlings time into halve comparing with the drive-in solution. During the STILL Pallet Runner is working the lift truck will work independent for other transports. | |

THE DESIGNThe Pallet Runner is built from a number of modules to form a robust and reliable engine, easy to operate and service. On each level the Pallet Runner is set up on special rails very simple. The singular design anticipates damages of the load and failures of handling. The shuttle is built on a sturdy chassis with a full size lift table. This design considered that loads are carried on some kind of a pallet and the quality on those pallets varies. The patented safety design that connects the shuttle to the fork lift when picked up and transported to another rack channel eliminates slipping on the forks.
CONTROLBrain of the Pallet Runner is the micro computer control module. Further modules are: - electro mechanical drive module
- hydraulic lift module
- sensor module
- communication module

BATTERIESThe Pallet Runner comes with on board power of special military grade none liquid high power batteries. The control module monitors the power and indicates when charging is needed. The standard operating time is 20 hours under normal conditions. The power set requires a specially adopted quick charger which is available. The communication between fork lift and the Pallet Runner is done by means of high frequency radio. For the small warehouse system there is a one way communication system with a radio transmitter hand held or mounted in the fork lift. The Pallet Runner communication will be integrated in the STILL Material?ow Management System via W-LAN for applications with several shuttles and lift trucks.
